His relationship with Doug

I was just wondering if there was anything underlying implied about there relationship or at least Chaplins feelings for him. When they are last together as Doug get into his car Chaplin wispers 'goodbye my sweet prince' and then thats it never is it elaborated on or mentioned again.

It would explain alot but then again maybe ive read something wrong in the scene, is there anyone one more qualified who could shed some light as it has been bugging me since i watched it

'Do you think the bass is taking away from the vocal?'

I'm not sure what you're implying, but I think Charlie paraphrased the final line of Hamlet ("Goodnight sweet prince") because he knew he would never see Doug again.

I think so too and I expected someone to guestion this and/or their relationship.

Brad...Whatcha gonna do? What are you gonna do?

reply

I think Charlie said that at Doug's eulogy and they put it in the film as a little tribute almost.
