Stopped watching a minute in.
First of all she sounds like there's a dick stuck in her throat.
Second all she does is complain and hate on something.
Mankind was born on Earth. It was never meant to die here.

Stopped watching a minute in.She goes on to tear into Ta-Nehisi Coates' Black Panther #1 and manages to find an opportunity to praise the bird cage liner of series she wrote in 2012 - Suburbia.
First of all she sounds like there's a dick stuck in her throat. The obstruction could indeed be a disarticulated penis however, I'm thinking it's likely her unbridled idiocy.
Second all she does is complain and hate on something. They say there is no accounting for taste however, Grace is completely tone deaf and color blind when it comes to identifying anything of merit in the world or art and design.
Why does she need 15 minutes to review a comic that probably takes half that long to read?
Copycat trolls always have each others' backs, even if both accounts are the same guy.
She's a disgrace to the gender as a critic. As a woman, I feel deeply embarrassed watching her. Someone with her level of popularity and influence should be able to string together coherent sentences that don't descend into an ear-splitting, nasal singsong. It's like she thinks she's talking to kindergartners or trying to lure a stray dog with a piece of bacon.
ComicBookGirl19 is struggling with her format this year but, she can still run circles around Randolph with regard to coherent criticism.

Yeah she didn't like Ultron or Guardians and loved BVS what the heck lol
shareYeah I've given up even commenting on her stupidity anymore. Practically every single thing she says is the opposite of actual reality. It makes me think she is either some kind of troll or mentally disturbed. I mean she should be right sometimes just by shear chance. To be wrong every single time...well that's special.
shareI mean she should be right sometimes just by shear chance. She's on a stupid streak like no other... I'm never going to forget her likening BvS to the works of Kubrick. And I'm never going to let anyone else forget it either.
I read the comic. I think she's asking too much of the 22 pages that's been given to us. I think she has some valid criticisms/concerns, but that it is far too soon to level them. I agree the BP coulda shoulda been featured stronger, and that there wasn't really much a sense of "fun" to it - but then again, it's not claimed to be an over-the-top fun book. I have a feeling that Cotes run will read much better as a collection once he's able to get his arcs going. He's not used to writing the comic book format, and it does show. The art had some interesting flourishes but never wowed me. I found the visual storytelling to be somewhat flawed. There were some scenes that you would have to flip back to after seeing something later to fully understand, ie. there was one thing with the staff weapon where I didn't totally get it at first, the woman in green was pretty subtle, etc. Also reading the back of the book you can see the script/his intention and the first conflict is supposed to be as big as the Boston Massacre but it comes across not nearly so important. There wasn't enough build up for that to resonate as being such a huge event for Wakanda.

I agree with a lot of your points, KB. I think Ms. Randolph's overall tone and pov regarding the series is dismissive and condescending. She is trying desperately to write the series off after an issue which was arguably designed to set up a larger arc (with several interesting threads). Coates has not taken to the medium like the proverbial fish to water but, I think his instincts and sensibilities are on target. Was Stelfreeze the best choice for the artwork? We could have likely done better but, he's by no means terrible or incompetent. He can be very dynamic when the material calls for it... http://goo.gl/LzXosY
Grace is still pretty much a tool in my book.

I agree she sounded annoying. I'm not someone who cruises her channel and I don't think she appeals to me as a critic. I much prefer our discussion! I absolutely think this book could turn out to be excellent. I usually wait for TPBs because I prefer being able to read complete arcs and I think that's where Cotes' head was at when gearing up to deliver his BP story. I follow him on Twitter and he asked his followers if they thought there was a market for something like that. Kinda funny cuz that's what a "graphic novel" really means.
Cool art you posted! Like I said there were some cool lines and interesting choices, the tech/herioglyphics and the blood were stylistic and purposeful, not nearly the generic sort that her review might lead you to believe.
I am far from giving up on this series, but I wasn't wowed, yet. This is going to be a smart series, it's ok that we didn't get some bonkers awesome piece because if nothing else this series will have purpose.

She and mello both tried saying that...
1. Batman didn't kill in BvS
And...
2. Lex was the one branding people in BvS to frame batman...
She's a complete moron.
She's a complete moron. She is really thick. I unsubscribed from her channel the day before yesterday. Enough is enough, she can peddle her agenda-driven drivel somewhere else.
She's a fangirl who can't accept the fact that BvS is mediocre. Her opinions are sh!t. Wouldn't surprise me if she ended up being the poster skittykit who is just as moronic as Grace.
