SPIDERMAN Homecoming + title card

Sony & Marvel officially revealed the title for the Spiderman reboot. It will be called Spiderman Homecoming.

Homecoming fits in with the High School setting the film plans to take as well as Peter Parker finally joining the MCU.

Are you a fan of the title and title card design? If not what would you have called it?

I love the sentiment but I don't love the graphics on the card. If I were a rabid DC fanboy, that would be cause enough to write the whole venture off.

I might have gone with The Spectacular Spider-Man.

Me too but It'll grow on us.

The title card guaranteed will be changed before the movie comes out.

Is it me or does it sound like an episode of 90s Spider-Man cartoon

I'm not hinging my like or dislike of the movie all on a title card. Civil War is going to be the first taste for us Spider-Man junkies. They'd better wow me. Anything less and we'll have a problem.

I hope they change the title card font to something like this:

I really like it actually. It makes sense on multiple levels, as you listed. I like the font. It's all very well appointed, and is definitely a nice departure from the past offerings. Yes, there will be jokes - but who cares if the movie is good? I'm hearing Spidey is a stand out in Civil War.
