IGN rated it a 7.8

Now I didn't read the review to avoid spoilers and I won't post the link here because we all agreed to not read spoilerish reviews but they rated it a 7.8 and it seems like they are on the "hate marvel" bandwagon.

As of right now all 14 rotten tomato reviews have given it a 100% rating. Various sites have given it a 9 out of 10 or a solid 10 put of 10. IGN is so far the lowest score the film has gotten.

The comment section mentions how the review constantly mentioned Batman v. Superman so perhaps the reviewer himself is upset at how poorly BvS was received and how warmly Civil War is being received.

Scott Mendelson gave it 6/10

@Alienzen-1,

Oh I'm sure it will get low scores from various people. But IGN loves bias reviews or paid reviews. They had given Assassin's Creed Unity a 10/10 stars. When the game released it was unplayable for millions of people. It took 2 months to get it working and people even sued Ubisoft.

My point is that sites like Engadget and IGN have a lot of biased reviewers who are either paid off or disgruntled.

Yeah, I was surprised by this rating. Out of every other critic, I tend to trust IGN the most as their reviews usually compatible with my taste. They never "hate" Marvel and rated many of their movies and shows high. The two complaints I read ( I hope this isn't a huge spoiler. If you are worried stop reading) is Baron Zemo which is fine since I read it was just an introduction to the character and will be fleshed out at a later time. Also that the movie was too serious and borderline grim. I dont mind that because if there is any movie that NEEDS to be serious and somewhat grim, it is Civil War. I will see in a few weeks but with what I saw, that is the lowest rating so far.

Wasn't it an IGN guy who was the only 'negative' tweeter earlier this week?
I mean, the Collider panel raved about it... absolutely raved, each giving a '9'.
