Civil War 8.2 on imdb.

And 1,291 of those ratings are 1 star ratings. The DC fanboys are really dedicated I must say. Using all of their sock accounts to rate the film 1 star.

Now those of us who have been on IMDB for years are aware that ratings here are meaningless. But it goes to show you for a film that hasn't been released to the general public yet to garner 1291 hateful 1 star ratings is pure jealousy on behalf of trolls.

It just hurts the genuine ratings and reviews from giving the film a true "rating". For example. If DesiredFX rated it an 8 out of 10 and I rated it a 5 out of 10 it would be a more genuine balance. But these ignorant 1 star ratings ruin all credibility from a legit rating system.

Yep, there's some Odin level butt hurt going on by DC fans.

It's not so much the amount of votes, it's the percentage. Every movie gets a load of '1' votes... even The Godfather! But, it usually settles around 2 - 4% of the total votes cast. BvS has 3.9% or something, which is (sadly) normal.

But Civil War has over 20% of '1' votes!!!! That's pretty shocking... and Grace Randolph complains about an "agenda" against BvS?

"I reject your reality and substitute my own"

reply

@CrimsonRage,

DC fans only see an "agenda" against them when it benefits their damage control but never see the "agenda" they have against another film. They claim Disney paid off critics to bash Batman v. Superman and claimed anyone who disliked it was a total troll.

Yet they don't stop and analyze the facts that maybe just maybe Batman v. Superman was a mediocre movie.

The IMDB ratings, as you said, do not matter. My rating system is 10 or nothing. WTF is some random person's "6" supposed to mean LOL?

@KeyBrains,

Everyone has a different way of rating a film. I start with a 10. I analyze the following:

PLOT
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
SCORE
CGI
PACING
EDITING
ACTING
ENJOYMENT

From there I assess what I liked and didn't like. But people will troll and give a 1 to any film they don't want to be successful and it's ignorant. If they want to see an awful 1 star film they obey should watch Trespass with Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman.

reply

I think ENJOYMENT is the only thing that matters.

@KeyBrains,

Well I like to think of some movies as guilty pleasures. Like the first transformers film. I really didn't enjoy it but if it's on FX I will watch it.
