I'd agree with you but only second after hellraiser, hellraiser is overlooked too much !

Hellraiser is definitely overlooked, Candyman has more recognition.

When discussing horror films people are always familiar with Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers, Chucky, Leatherface, Scream and Candyman but never about Pinhead or "Hellraiser"..

Pinhead is always talked about. More so than the movie. Candyman doesn't.

I absolutely 100% agree with you. I will never understand that 6.6 IMDB rating. I've always thought that this film and Black Christmas are the two most criminally underrated horror movies of all time.

I agree... everyone always talks about Halloween, Texas Chainsaw, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elmstreet, even the Scream movies... no one remembers Candyman.

Yeah I would make you right there. Fantastic film, one of my favourite horrors. Not overally scary as such, just brilliantly done.
