Has GOT to be the DUMBEST warning sign for someone to have when it means they're about to have to fight. Has GOT to be even DUMBER as a warning sign when it's something that's going to happen to the Slayer naturally for at least a day or two every 3-4 weeks. All those false warnings would have to get annoying as hell after a few months.

Well, this movie IS kind of two-faced. It's hard to tell sometimes what the proper tone is, whether we're supposed to be laughing at Buffy or cheering for her. (Probably both, although that doesn't really make sense.)
The "cramps" are probably just another of those absurd touches the movie's supposed to have. Maybe it would have been better without them - but then, would having Buffy announce "My Slayer sense is tingling!" before every action scene have been any less ridiculous? Que sera, sera....
well it makes sense since most women can menstruate and vampires drink blood.
Why in this mythology are they the superpowered ones? Hence the purpose of 'cramps". Movie came out during my middle school years so I thought it was cool actually.
