Blu-ray coming this week
Should be miles better than the crummy DVD release.

To expensive. The movie is not that good and the Blu-ray does not really have any extras that is worth paying that much extra for it.
If they had set it around 10-12 dollars then it would start be to an interesting price.
Yeah, I really don't understand Blu-ray pricing sometimes. The Others just came out on Blu-ray and that's from 2001, at only $10.

Already? Sheesh, Fox, hold your horses. I know you're always one of the first out of the gate on the video market, but it's too soon. Wouldn't it be better to release the new disc on July 31, 2012 - the 20th anniversary of this movie?
This is just like rereleasing GONE WITH THE WIND in 1998 for the 59TH anniversary.
I bought BUFFY at the local supermarket (they have a DVD section), watched it twice, and then took it downtown to a video store and sold it to make some quick cash.
It's not that I don't like the movie; I'm quite fond of it. But what bothered me was that what I got was actually a double disk: BUFFY and the teen comedy DRIVE ME CRAZY (1999). (For those of you who don't remember that one, Melissa Joan Hart and Adrian Grenier were in it, and Britney Spears contributed the title song.)
What was that for? I understand that both movies are about a popular girl who loves a boy from the proverbial other side of the tracks, but otherwise they have nothing in common. Why package them together?
