I think I've asked a question like this before, but...

I am an American, and have visited only two foreign countries in my entire life (and one of them barely counted, really). So I'd like to know how popular BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER is in countries other than the one in which it was made.

In England as far as I'm aware the movie wasn't too popular but was known of at the time of release (I'm too young to know but that's the impression I get). The series was popular at the time with a large cult following and still popular with a cult following. During the run it was shown once and week and then bumped up to twice a week on the BBC (a big deal), newer episodes were shown on satellite channel sky 1 first. It's still has constant re-runs on the syfy channel and they recently did an all new top 20 Buffy episodes. The movie is also shown often these days either on terrestrial channel 5 or freeview/satellite’s Film4.

The screening in London was at a cinema that show a lot of campy/cult movies.
