Sister used to make me sit through this, recently watched again...

And loved it aha. I never cared for it when being made to sit through it in my younger years. Always wanted it to finish so I could watch my own choice of movie.

Works well after a smoke too aha. Totally cool movie I gotta say. Never seen the series that came after.

Just got my Niece to watch it. She loved it. Kinda goes on the 'Don't tell mom the babysitters dead' and 'Enchino/California man' list of cool 90's movies for me.

Take me to the hospital!

This is a great and underrated little Horror-comedy. I loved watching it as a kid and teen (along with Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead!).

By all means check out the television series, but don't expect a sequel to the film. The tv show is absolutely fantastic and so is its spin-off series Angel, but they are not an actual continuation of the movie.

As you see throughout the series, there are flashbacks to Buffy's origin as a Slayer and it differs from what is shown in this film. The two works are different canons/interpretations based on the same premise, with differing tones.
