No, they wouldn't have two microwaves in the same spot. You can't run two microwaves on the same circuit because doing so would blow a fuse. I think that what we see in Buffy's kitchen is a stowaway appliance. In that case, the top is the microwave designed to look like a cabinet and the bottom is a real cabinet.
