I've just watched Dracula recently for the first time. It feels more like style over substance and the dialogue seems like it's more from a stage play. I still had a lot of fun watching it and yeah it was counterprogramming to Home Alone 2.

It had a huge opening weekend:

Back in 1992...it would be strange to see a movie drop 50% off the the previous weekend.

After several weekends it was replaced by The Muppet Christmas Carol
