its 2010 and i still can't find that jazz instrumental!!!!!!

I'm still looking for it too. Marcus Miller should have made it available as an intrumental, and it should have been on the soundtrack.

I too have the Marcus Miller CD (M2) with the vocal version, which I don't care for as much as the instrumental one. A lot of folks been trying to locate, I don't think he ever released it as an instrumental, which would've been great. He based it on a George Michael song.

If you mean "Cowboys & Angels" then yes, and didn't base, totally stole it.
Because that's exactly what I assumed it was. And was VERY surprised not to see any mention of it in the credits.
