Hello I need help about a song. You know the part of the movie right after Marcus (Eddie Murphy) gets suspended from his job and there are the televisions in the background and he's just standing there it sounds like a jazz song or a instrumental. Really would appreciate the help, thank you.
Dude, i've been trying to figure that one out since 1992. That is one of THE best instrumentals that i have ever heard. Somebody, anybody, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
Hello, I want to thank both of you for the help it does sound very similar to the George Michael song but that isn't it. Oh well somebody has gotta read this eventually and know, thanks again.
yo if u get like a lyric from the song and post it i can most likely find it for you...but if u type it into google it should come up with the lyrics...im dying to find out what this song is especially since ive heard it on the radio twice on WJJZ in philly
i thought i was the only one searching for this song. ever since i heard it, damn that has got to be the best instrumental piece ever written. my kind of music. if anyone, i mean anyone knows where i can get it please don't hesitate to share the info, i don't care the price, despite being a broke student, but quality like that is priceless
I cannot beleive that someone else is looking for the same song. I looked at the ending credits on the movie and listed is an instrumental song.I am wondering if that is the song. Marcus Miller sampled the song but it is not the original. Someone needs to find this song!!!
The song you are looking for is by a band named: "Rebirth Brass Band" out of New Orleans, rebirthbrassband.com The name of the song is "Feel Like Funkin' It Up." There are 2 versions; Original 1989 "Feel Like Funkin' It Up" album & 1991 ext version on the 'Do Whatcha Wanna" album. Enjoy!
NYTIQUE! Help!!! The damn movie was on again, it IS the one of the best jazz instrumental tunes ever. I GOTTA GET IT ALREADY! HELP ME!! Are you sure it was the right song and where did you get your copy from?
Yeah thanks alot! I used to rewind the movie a couple times during the intro! Then it plays it again later in the movie. But I love that instrumental jazz piece! It's smoooooooth like Gary Coleman, lol!
Thank you so much for providing the info. That is a wonderful song just to kick back and bob your head to. Raphael Saddiq singing in the background. It's on Amazon. Type in M2. Thank you thank you thank you.
That song is actually the movie's theme, and is also played during the opening credits. The title, appropriately, is "Boomerang" and was written by bassist Marcus Miller, who did the film's soundtrack. A version of the song with lyrics appears on Miller's CD "M2".
My beautiful girlfriend just told me she's been looking for that song sine 1992 and even bought the soundtrack for it hoping it'd be on there... which it isn't I sure hope your answers will please her. Thanks in advance.
I know this many years later but it's george michael's cowboys and angels You forget what you want to remember and you remember what you want to forget.
