Angela dated marcus's friend Gerard before she dated Marcu. That is wrong that she would go from one friend to the next. You don't date the men you dated and their friends even if didn't actual have sex yet. She was still having dinner with Gerard and going places with him. Poor guy. This was even apparent at the end of the movie when he got mad at Marcus. And he should of got mad at Angela as well.
shareWhat are you talking about? They never actually HAD dinner, all they ever did was hang out. If somebody comes over to your house and all you do is talk about art and have an awkward goodbye kiss, the date ends on the note of "friends", never to have a date again. It would be one thing if she and Gerard had dated for weeks or months and had developed some kind of bond, but that's not the way it happened. Angela had every right to go where her heart took her because she wasn't in a relationship with Gerard.
HOWEVER Marcus is very close to Gerard and knows his views on women, and just how infrequently he dates. He knew how he felt about Angela and he slept with her anyway. This is why Gerard was angry at Marcus and not Angela.
'miamisfootballplaya' is right, and their limitation at "friendship" is made clear when they tell gerard's parents in unison :/
