It's no 'A Fish Called Wanda', it's apparent model, and it could have been so much better than it turned out but I still enjoy 'BIOTBB' for what if is, and tend to catch it whenever it appears on TV. I love the cast who make the most of the material, particularly Dudley Moore as the hapless Melvyn Orton and Bronson Pinchot whose enunciations of and inability to distinguish between the three similar names always cracks me up. I also love how everyone ends up with what they deserve in the end, going by the end subtitles (which is another steal from 'AFCW').
shareWhat I loved about it was that the confusion was believable. Most comedies of error are based on Person A trying to tell Person B something important, but Person B won't listen. Which could be solved by Person A insisting that Person B listen. The mix-up in this movie was authentic.
