I used to watch this movie all the time when I was a kid, but as a teen watched it less and less; does that happen?

At least that's what happened to me; that could have happened to anyone else then again I'm not a dog person, I never had a dog, never raised dogs, I only pet them. This was the 90's so I don't know whether or not Beethoven was genetically bred, When I was a kid, Beethoven was the biggest dog ever; the biggest dog I had ever seen nowadays I see these gigantic monster beast dogs that aren't born like that; they're bred and spliced by science.....

I used to watch it all the time as a kid (back in the early to mid 90's but watched it less after after middle school (I became a high schooler in 1995), I did watch it again approximately 10 years ago and thought it was a very good movie.

Not in my book. I still enjoy this movie and the second installment. The later installments can go piss off, although the reboot era films were a wake-up call that Universal should not go the Home Alone route and rely on what worked a long time ago.
