Reminds me of the line in Batman and Robin when Batman tells Ivy, “First you’re going to tell me where Freeze is and then you’re going to jail.”
shareShrek wasn't interested in justice--he only cared about himself. Bruce knew it. This is different than somebody who is a 'victim' and is rescued by Batman from imminent danger/death. The only reason Shrek is rescued is Bruce is not a murder. This would make him no different than the thugs who had killed his parents.

shareSure......batman IS Bruce Wayne. He had sat in on all the board meetings. He knew what a creep he was. And he saw how Shrek abused Selina. Bruce is pissed that Shrek has the nerve to think he should be treated kindly after he hurt so many people including his very own executive assistant, the woman he loves.
It's funny because after having done all of this Shrek thinks he's still entitled to bargain with people to get away and Bruce/Batman cannot be bought off.
Yeah I’m sure he knew Shreck was crooked but that’s meaningless unless you have proof .
We all knew Casey Anthony and OJ were guilty but a court of law determined that the prosecution didn’t prove their case so therefore it was worthless
He was attending the board of director meetings as bruce wayne. private board of director meetings aren't open to the public and media to attend. Bruce Wayne himself had all the paperwork and documentation of shrek's plans as proof so he already knew Shrek was crooked. There is a scene in the movie where he is attending one of these meetings and disagreeing with shrek.
shareDisagreeing with someone isn’t proof of corruption. At that point he didn’t know what the power plant actually was but if he knew back then then he should have told Gordon about it then. Between the time where the penguin grabbed Shreck and when they met again in the sewer something had to have changed that made Batman want to prosecute Schrek
shareBruce Wayne/Batman is a vigilante. He's not an employee of the police. But he did say the mayor and him did see eye to eye on the power plant and that they did not agree with Shrek. Shrek had the bad data.
shareThat’s not a crime though you idiot and when he said “shut up your going to jail” he clearly had some sway with the legal system which brings me back to my original point: if he had dirt on shreck when he met him in his office (which you haven’t proven) it makes no sense that he would wait so long to begin the process of prosecuting him /“turning him over to the police”.
