Arguably, the biggest load of tosh ever committed to celluloid!
Hadn't seen this film in ages, until it was shown on UK television last week and it was every bit as bad as I remembered.
The unintentionally hilarious bits were all present and correct, such as the then 48 year old Michael Douglas hitting the night club in a 'V' necked sweater trying so desperately to look young, cool and hip. The constant double entendre reference to Douglas's character as "shooter" was so laboured as to be laughable, not to mention the woefully awful dialogue in general.
The sex scenes between Douglas and Stone were just as ludicrous. The scene between Douglas and Tripplehorn was just as offensive.
This is a film very much of its time. Thank goodness they DON'T make 'em like that any more! I still want my money back.
