Is there some deeper significance/symbolism to LT's attire?
Howdy folks. I recently watched this film for the first time in years and something struck me about the attire/style that LT has throughout the film - I noticed how he always wears a suit with a dress shirt that is fully buttoned up with no tie, was this supposed to have some deeper meaning to it? All of the other detectives wear suits with ties yet LT sticks with his style of no tie/buttoned up all the way - this is a pretty rare look in movies from this era, was it supposed to mean something deeper or was it just a minor detail of no importance?
