Harvey Keitel should win an oscar and lifetime achievement award i mean he pushed onscreen boundraies more than any other actor more than Deniro and Pacino none of them could do what he did in this film.

What´s that? Expose their dick? Seriously though, even as it´s probably true that neither De Niro nor Pacino would have been equally effective in this role as Keitel, there are far more roles those two have successfully played that Keitel couldn´t do; he simply doesn´t have the range of these giants. But his ´was´ the best performance of 1992 though, easily more impressive than Pacino going through his "whoo-haa" routine in that horrid, sentimentalist preachfest called Scent Of A Woman - even though he´s undeniably a lot of fun in it and there´s nothing overtly wrong with that performance.
And I think the second best performance of the year is by Ray Wise in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me.
