This Movie was Freakin' Hilarious

I laughed especially hard at Kietel's "mmmmm...mmmmm...BOO HOO!!!!" while driving after shooting his radio.

"Salvation is a last-minute business, boy."

I agree I thought the seedy character and his neverending misfortune made for some hilarious scenes, his shooting of the radio was classic.

"Come on Joey..Come on.....OOHHHH YOU F-CKIN *beep* MOTHERF-CKIN MUTT!!"

Second chances are rare man, you shoud learn to take better advantage of em'

Yeah like he's screaming obscenities as he's driving and says the N-word while passing an African American...Like what a scum bag. His gambling addiction was hilarious it self.

This movie was sooo Over-The-Top... Like "Wow the director put that in this movie," and then two scenes later it's like, "Whoa he's actually doing that in front of young girls outside a club, on the street, in order to feel satisfied in letting them go."

By the way this film achieved *** stars with its raunchy content, more power to the director-paving the way for other over the top films.

One of the best scenes ever when he shoots the radio.

Oh man, it's a tragic and absurd happening for his character, but the radio shooting in his vehicle IS a laugh riot. I didn't laugh at it the first time I saw it, but whenever I think about that scene now, I can't control myself. The best part was the reactions from the witnesses.

the best part is the dude who sees him shoot the radio then watches him put on his police sirenon his car!

I think I really missed the humor in this one. First that disturbing masturbation scene, and now this one. I suppose there is something funny about a man who's losing his sanity, going berserk and finding even more reason to spiral downward into his murderous addictions. Or maybe not.

I doubt it... There is a huge difference between finding the outrageous downward spiral of a movie character darkly humorous and actually making fun of a destitute person on the street in reality.

Although the film takes his actions deadly seriously, I think it's understandable that some would find them over-the-top and amusing, and the scene where he shoots the radio and then immediately switches on his police siren and zooms off while a horrified pedestrian watches in disbelief is pretty out there.

He left a note. He left a simple little note that said "I've gone out the window."

That's how the movie works though....its so completely over-the-top that you don't know whether to laugh or cry, your movie radar is defunct its all so direct. Then Jesus pops in for a cameo and its suddenly all makes perfect insane sense.
