shareFooled by what? Its greatness? Its realism? It's real life portrayal of a soul in a downward spiral. These men exist.

What bothers you about this film? Pretty Good rating across the board here... Keitel at his BEST.
shareIt's a great performance. But it's a character study about a character I don't care to see. I don't mind morally reprehensible characters necessarily. But this one didn't do it for me. It's a provocative movie, I will say that. I like Abel Ferrara's previous film, King of New York. And I like Werner Herzog's loose remake of this movie. But this one is just too consistently brutal and bleak. I can't imagine ever watching it again.
