after ripley dies you see the star emerging from around the lower part of the planet , kind of symbolic of Ripley's spirit
you do not punish someone for having big boobs!
Not just that, somewhere at the beginning, before the menace starts, you see the sun go down and it gets dark. And you see what appears to be a piece of rubble, but is shaped like a christian cross. And that's just a couple of examples of the film's symbols.
