Gerard Depardieu's casting was inspired but it hurted the movie's Box Office I think with Mel Gibson or Al Pacino it would have made more money

You may be right. I really wanted to see this back in 92. It looked really cool. Unfortunately my friends didn't want to see it so our parents wouldn't take us. We were 10 so it makes sense.
