According to tvshowsondvd.com, Mill Creek Entertainment has acquired the rights of several Cannell shows including Renegade and will release them on DVD in the near future.

Can't wait, hopefully Mill Creek will be able to distribute all 5 years of Renegade and not just the last 2, with maybe more special features. Hopefully Mill Creek unlike Anchor Bay will have the all the episodes uncensored, because I just watched "The Fox and the Rabbit" tonight and there was a censored boob shot.
shareI can't wait for an official release of season 4 and 5. But Mill Creek is a barebones type of outfit. Doubt there will be any extras. But the sets are very inexpensive.

shareOkay.. here is the story.. Just got off the phone with Lyle from MillCreek.. He just said they will start with Season 1 and work from there.... Well that sucks... I have Seasons 1 -4.. Any Renegade fan will already have Seasons 1-3 ... and if sales are not good enough.. Season's 4 and 5 STILL might not make it... He would not really say anymore than that... Should see Season 1 early January 2010... or so... everybody keep your finger's crossed..
Yeah that does suck, surely every Renegade fan already has the first 3 seasons, why are they bothering to re-release them?
Anyway, the first season is being re-released on Tuesday, January 19, 2010.
At least they set a date for re-releasing the DVD's, and someday they will eventually get around to season 4 and 5.
Plus at about $15 for the season that is a good price. Hope they get enough sets sold to get to season 4 and 5.
