If I remember correctly, Jay woke up from a coma and Alpha turned against Flash & him. I don't exactly remember why, but does anybody know? Season 3 was probably my favourite. Did Alpha actually betray Jay or was she just trying to find a family? What do you guys think?

alpha only turned against jay for one or two episodes in season 2, when jay woke up (causing both earthquakes and alpha's leg injury) and she was appointed head librarian at the library of truth in the tower. she did it because she saw in the glass (the one that turns kids into zombies and allows them to see upworld) what she would be like if jay merged the waking world and downworld. namely, that she would be like donna, with a leg brace. once she found out medea knew jay's father was in downworld (and medea was lying about it), she rejoined jay and remained loyal till the last episode.
