I wonder what season 8 would of been like had the show made it... I know Lexi was leaving . I kinda predict she would of just left town and maybe Lisa rinna would of returned . I don't think Eve would of gone crazy. I think it would of been an awesome season ender if Lexi would of said screw it and sold the building . Throughout the season finale, we see her signing off the papers for the building to someoene (not seeing the face ).... than the last scene, leopard high heels are shown walking into the courtyard, -' the camera pans up and it's Sydney, who pulls off her sunglasses and says with a grin...it's like I never left.... kind of taking the idea from Melrose 2.0 , but nothing like it . Sydney would be a regular again in season 8, and we get a REAL reason she faked her death ... oh wel :)

Actually, the only thing they changed with that season was the series finale - apparently they had two scripts - one written by Chuck Pratt Jr, which served as the series finale and one written by Carol Mendelsohn which would've segued into sa potential season eight.

So, Eve going crazy was always going to happen, even if renewed for a season eight.

Oh I didn't know that! Well a Sydney resurrection still would of been a nice lead into season 8...it would of added the razzmatazz the show had in its early seasons

Also I wonder why not former character returned for the last show? It seemed like a very rushed ending
