Anyone else hate the Pam jokes that Martin would always say?

I cringe and never laugh every time Martin cracks on Pam. All those jokes were not necessary, offensive and not funny.

This would have been one of my favorite shows it if weren't for the Pam jokes. Anyone else feel that way?

The insults were the 3rd best thing about the show right behind Martin and Gina's chemistry and them almost losing it when they made each other laugh.

Well, I didn't necessarily find them offensive. Only cuz it was just for comedic relief but they were just corny to me and quite redundant. Like "okay we get it". It's like Will crackin' on Uncle Phil. His jokes were never really funny. There was only one time where I actually laughed. In the episode "72 Hours" where Carlton made a bet with Will that he could make it the weekend in Compton. When they were caught Uncle Phil reprimanded Will as usual and something like "why should I always be the heavy". I don't know why but I would always laugh my ass off(still do) when I heard that. But yeah, the jokes were just annoying.

this was no different when Fred Sanford and Aunt Esther went at it. Fred called her ugly. She called him a fish-eyed fool.

It really got stale and overdone especially in the fifth season. It's like they had to stretch the dialogue between Martin and Pam to make up for the void Gina left. It would've been interesting if they had an episode like Family Matters when Steve saved Carls life. If there was a situation where Pam saved Martins life and he had to be nice to her that would've driven him crazy. Remember they did a test to see if Martin couldn't insult her for five minutes and he failed.

There were a couple episodes similar to what you're talking about. I feel like the time Martin and Pam were stranded in the woods. They bonded together until they were saved. This might not count but when Martin thought he won the lottery; Pam was super nice to him until she discovered her gift lol.

Sorry but the Martin and Pam jokes was the main thing that made the show hilarious! Like others say, their banter is like George Jefferson and Florence and Fred and Aunt Esther or Al Bundy and Marcy Rhoades Darcy.

i loved how they went back and forth. i always thought Pam's jokes were a lil lame tho. it did get overdone after a while. but i always crack up laughin whenever i see that episode where Martin said "Beady Bee, get ya saddle, we headin out west!"

The fat jokes Will made to Uncle Phil on Fresh Prince got old after a while, but Martin and Pam's cracks were funny.
