The last episode could have been handled way different

I found it odd you had this one hour finale and Martin and Gina did not interact together. Granted Martin Lawrence and Tisha Campbell couldn't film scenes together because of that whole sexual harassment issue on Martin's part, but they still could have accomplished having their characters appear together without the actors having to share a scene. They could have done it like what they do when they have some one in a duo role; they film scenes twice and then chop off half the footage with the stand-in and merge the other halves together with just the one actor playing both roles. So they could have done scenes where Martin is talking to a Gina stand-in, and then scenes with Tisha talking to a Martin stand-in, and you know the rest. Then on TV it would have looked like they filmed scenes together. That would have been better than just having the characters not interact at all.

Fortunately there was some closure because season 5 was terrible. I have no issues with the way the show ended given the circumstances.

Well, I just think it would have been better had the characters been seen together instead of just them finding out things about each other behind their backs and given that this split screen technique has been around for decades before then, they so could have pulled it off.

I agree 100%. Season 5 was so dreadful and pathetic!
