I don't like this show, but was this show designated for another network

before it was pitched to NBC?

If so, it would prove that "Friends" (which is pretty much the one show related to this show) is not NBC-like at all.

"Friends" was never all that pop. I mean the fans know the character names but who knows the actors besides Aniston?

"Seinfeld" had more pop appeal.

Um, no. "Seinfeld" had more pop appeal. Look at the all the stars who appeared -- Letterman, Amanda Peet, Sarah Silverman, Bryant Gumble, Jay Leno, ROB SCHNEIDER, Maritsa Hagerty, Drake Bell, Bernie Williams, Derek Jeeter. "Friends" maybe had 2 tops -- Bruce Willis, who isn't even elite in Hollywood. The only real famous star was Brad Pitt.

Are you just that dumb? Jay Leno appeared on Friends. But have you ever looked at Friends guest stars?

Who the hell knows who those people are aside from cult fans of the show. Only Aniston is well known.
The others are only moderately known at best.
On the other hand everyone knows Larry David, Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis Dreyfus even without watching their show.

Pop appeal? Explain how "Seinfeld" has always been more popular in Romania than "Friends." It has always been the most popular show. Australia as well.

Friends was an extremely popular show that lasted a decade even if I never liked it or thought it was funny in the least.
