Favorite Episode?

I was wondering if anybody had a far and away favorite episode of the series? I'm on season 3 and 'Hank's Night in the Sun' is probably my favorite episode so far. Hank's second night hosting was awkwardly hilarious.

A far and away favorite? No (for me, the show is overall too good to be able to say that).

But The Hankerciser 200 would definitely be at or near the top of my list, and I agree with you also about Hank's Night in the Sun - that's a great one too.

Probably "Hank's Night in the Sun" because it was the first episode I remember seeing. I was 11 at the time, but the scene with someone yelling out "You suck!" to Hank always stuck with me. Watching it years later, I for some reason wonder if it was Phil...

"Putting the Gay In Litigation" is another good one.

Oh stewardess...I speak jive.

If I'm remembering correctly, it was Todd Holland (director of the episode) who yelled out "You suck!".

They laugh about it on the audio commentary for the episode.

Hank's Night in the Sun is one of the top 3! Personally, Hank's Sex Tape might be my favorite. SO HILARIOUS!! Also, I think this show had one of the best series finales I have ever seen. It was a pretty perfect ending to the show.

I don't know. Maybe:
* Out of the Loop (Season 1)
* Artie's Gone (Season 2)
* Putting the "Gay" Back in Litigation (Season 6)

Out of the Loop is such a great episode.

What was Larry's line?: "These people, they sense a lifeforce and they just suck the energy out of you..."?

Classic.

Hank's Sex Tape is my favorite. Norm MacDonald's lines crack me up to this day.

I have several. First and foremost is probably Hank's Sex Tape. Well written episode (most eps were, but even more so), loved Larry and Artie in this one too...I liked the 8th Anniversary show, which I believe was the season 3 or 4 finale? Mandy Patinkin and Noah Wylie...Mandy to Noah: (comparing Chicago Hope to ER), "No offense but your show---Everyone's gorgeous, everyone's *beep* each other...You can (on that show) go out to eat and come back after" I crack up at that everytime!

Have just rewatched the first two seasons I think out of those episodes my favorite was Larry's Partner:

Terrific acting, lots of backstory and a rare example of comedy and drama coming together in a sitcom format.
