On dvd hire. I began viewing it by mistake years ago, when I watched Marlee Matlin call someone a King Canute and wondered what programme it was. ;O)) Too bad that it was the last series and had only a few weeks left; evidently BBC 2 knew more than me, because I'd seen it in the listing for ages.
It seems to have started as well as the later stuff I saw.

Just finished the third disc, there was no flipping but I got cramp in my back laughing at Rip Torn's lines.

Rip Torn in that show was the best.
This show was so fresh and unique and brilliant. I was so sad when it ended.

The first two discs for series 2 have arrived. How pleasant to see Larry copping off with the Earthgov president from Bab 5. ;O)) Pity she's a conniving bitch but surely he knows? The first episodes seemed a little uneven compared to the first series though.
