Nice show! How did I miss it all those years?

I am not sure how I missed this show all of these years - but it is running on the 'Chiller' network so I am catching a few episodes (actually only ONE so far-) and I do have to say that if the show had a larger budget I think it could have done well. There is definitely a lot to pick at, but not a bad show. I miss the early 90's clothing and hair.
Very sexy Vampire dude. When I was a kid, one of my favorite shows was the DRACULA that ran late at night, with Gordie Johnson as the DRACULA character. It didn't last long - I am sure I would be horribly disappointed if I saw that show now, but when I was 12 it was good!
ALSO: "I don't think Betty Ford takes Vampires." That was a laughing aloud moment. LOLOL.

Did you know that Geraint (Nick Knight) Wyn Davies played Klaus in Dracula: The Series (the star's name is Geordie though, not Gordie) in five episodes? You can hear Geordie in the 2nd season FK episode "The Fire Inside" and see and hear him as a Jerry Springer-type host in "My Boyfriend's A Vampire" in the third season.

I just started watching Season One last night. Can't remember much about the show, so it's like watching it for the first time again. Despite its low budget, its thick on brooding atmospherics and the humour comes off rather well. Nothing spectacular so far and the stories have been straight-forward, but the episodes have intrigue and strong characters.

I just started to watch the first season of my imported German DVDs, earlier this month. It was actually Zaranyzerak from YouTube that inspired me to buy it after watching his video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7A2FODkctrk&feature=plcp

I certainly enjoy to watch it. I like all the characters.
