30 minute British episodes

I seem to remember American Justice starting out with Bill Kurtis giving a description of a British case and then it was narrated by someone else. These episdoes were 30 minutes. Does anyone remember these early American Justice episodes or is this just my imagination?

I discovered the 30 minute episodes were actually episodes of a British series called Great Crimes & Trials of the 20th Century narrated by actor Robert Powell.
