Are they ever going to release this on dvd in widescreen?!!! I don't care that the dvd has nothing on it, but the fact this it is in pan and scan is the only reason I don't own this movie on dvd!!!!

They show it on Starz network in HD/widescreen, so it's definitely out there. Not sure why it's not on DVD in widescreen.

I made a widescreen version from the full frame version and it looks really good it looks as if though the director filmed it in full frame originally because after i converted it to widescreen no actor's heads are cut off or even cut in half. Stanley Kubrick filmed all his movies in full frame but were cropped down on top and bottom for the movie theaters.
shareThe solution is so simple; Disney ought to release it on Blu-ray. This way we could get both widescreen and high-def.
