If you were trying to cover for a missing friend.... would you send the one black guy in the entire school to try to get double-counted?

He probably did it himself to cover for his friend. If it were me, I'd make sure more than one person was moving around to at least distract them.

BTW:
If you look at the cafeteria scenes and the final scene outside the school you can see that he's not the only black student in the school

So out of the less than 100 students that make up the entire body of that school.... how many would you say were black? Two? MAYBE three?
