Any chance of Bluray Special edition release ?

Wouldn't count on it, man.

The current U.S. DVD from Sony is barebones, features a lousy PAN AND SCAN transfer, and three trailers for OTHER movies. I doubt Sony will actually do this film a good favor when it comes to a Blu-Ray release, because they probably don't think it'll make enough money for them. Sucks.

It will come. It's inevitable, just like it made it to DVD. Blu ray is the next evolution. I wouldn't hold your breath for any special features on it though. BTW import the UK DVD for cleaned up widescreen version.

Fives years later and bummed there's still no Blu Ray in the US. There is a new Region B release, so there's been some kind of progress.

Hopefully, a nother company like twilight or Kino lorber will pick it up for distribution.
