I know they didn't appear due to rights issues. But does anybody know exactly what the problem was?

How come they didn't have rights issues with any other character?

I remember the original creators did not want bebop and rock in the film

We were bombarded by 80's parents wanting no violence and the creators who resented us because their comic book was so special and didnt want our characters in there even though Krang is the best thing to come out TMNT peroid
