Just got both Subspieces & Subspieces 2 in the mail today up here in Canada.
Just watched the first film and thought it was pretty good stuff. Some nice extra's too . A making of documentary that runs about 15 minutes , access to your favorite scene , filmography's of the lead actors involved etc.
Well worth getting on DVD.

Can these be played on region 1 dvd players?

It should. The film is Spainish released under the NTSC (National Television System Committee) of VHS and DVD. Both USA and Canada are involved.
