Where did you here about part5? - Subspecies (1991) Discussion

The cast and crew are still trying to see it hit production. The script is ready, but apparently there's budget issues relating to filming in Romania.

I HOPE THEY MAKE 5. THESE MOVIES ROCK. I ORDERED 2 AND 3 FROM AMAZON AND FORGOT HOW AWESOME THEY WERE. I MIGHT GET 1 AND 4. (I MIGHT GET 1 FIRST BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS BETTER THAN 4).

I LIKE ALL BUT I THINK 1-3 ARE BETTER. 3 IS MY FAV.

I wonder if it is still the prequel idea, or if they are going to focus again on Radu and Michelle... a part of me hopes it is the latter, but who knows. Hopefully if this is true we'll start getting updates or some info about the storyline.

I really hope they make a 5 to me these are the vampire movies I have ever seen, so what they are low budget the succession in the way they are made were perfect.

There is a Part 5, it's entitled The Vampire Journals. It doesn't have Radu or Michelle in it though. It does have the Ash character(I believe that's the name)from the 4th film.

Vampire Journals is not part 5.

Vampire Journals was a spin-off that the same director made a few years after Subspecies III.

The director then tied Vampire Journals with Subspecies in the fourth installment.

I always wondered if it was supposed to be a sequel. Doesn't have Radu sure, but he died in part 3.
