Valeris goof??
How did velaris know they were looking for two pairs of boots. Maybe only one person came back to enterprise.
shareHow did velaris know they were looking for two pairs of boots. Maybe only one person came back to enterprise.
shareErr...maybe she actually heard this:
KIRK: What happened?
CHANG: With a direct torpedo hit you crippled our entire gravitational field, and two of your Starfleet crew beamed aboard wearing magnetic boots and did this.
"Lovey-dovey. Bonk bonk on the head!"
Yes smarty pants but only ONE person needed to beam to enterprise after the murder to change the computer log torpedo entry, the other could have easily beamed back to the bird of prey.
shareAnd not to beat a dead horse but it certainly would have been more risky to send 2 guys back to enterprise instead of 1. Another question comes up. Whoever returned to enterprise beamed to the transporter room because they found blood there, why would no one see someone beaming in. Would someone been stationed in the transporter room. I would bet on it.
shareUnless you WERE the person stationed to man the transporter room.
"Lovey-dovey. Bonk bonk on the head!"
At the time, no one knew there WAS a bird of prey. The only logical assumption is that they were back on Enterprise.
"Lovey-dovey. Bonk bonk on the head!"
Well played, but.
shareAlso, the Enterprise would notice any loss or gain of personnel -
"Where's Samno, he was supposed to be on shift an hour ago..."
Any personnel who came from the Enterprise would need to return to the Enterprise. If personnel were lost, investigations specifically into them would occur, possibly exposing the conspiracy rather than the cover story that it was either Kirk's plan or random rogue elements.
A worse Valeris goof - who the hell approved THAT uniform? She wasn't a cadet, for heavens sake. Was it because Saavik had worn that division color previously?
