as it should? Spock was mad about Valeris in particular and the conspiracy in general. He said that faith is needed, that the universe will unfold as it should.
But doesn't it seem likely that the peace process would be MORE successful following the Chancellor's assassination and the resulting events involving Kirk and the Enterprise to salvage things, than if the Chancellor had merely gone to Earth as originally planned?
Maybe it was Spock who needed to have more faith! 😎
