where is the dvd?

i absolutely love this movie. i have the vhs and must have watched it 50 times at least. but where is the dvd?

I agree. It definitely needs to be released on DVD. I just watched this again today and came here to imdb to see if the DVD was out yet. It needs to happen soon.

I too have watched the Video many times and consider it to be a treasure that should be on DVD and have waited and waited to no avail. What is the problem?
Is it Republic pictures ? Have they gone belly-up ?. I am now considering burning a DVD copy from the video on a recorder that i will soon buy, but i certainly prefer a production DVD, but for what ever reason, that does not appear will happin.

I would like, very much, for it to be relased on DVD, too. I bought the video tape version many years ago and those things don't last forever. I'm not even sure if it's available in any form any longer.

My VHS version (store bought) is showing signs of major wear and has outlasted its shelf life. This miniseries deserves to be on DVD.

Well it's been a year since I last posted and I'm still waiting lol -don't the studios recognise an easy buck when they see one? It won 4 Emmys for Christ sake guys release it now :-)
