Whenever I think about this movie

I always remember a conversation that I had with a friend when this was in theaters. Whenever we would catch up, we'd usually chat about the latest movies we had seen. Well, she saw SWTE but I had seen Silence of the Lambs. She went on for a bit about how scary SWTE was and afterwards I said something like, "I'm sure that movie had its moments, but trust me, there is no way that it is scarier than SOTL! " And she was all, "But SWTE is a genuine thriller yada yada yada" And I was all, "Maybe, but SOTL WILL FREAK YOU OUT BIGTIME I SWEAR IT!" Nonetheless she was convinced that the movie she saw had to be hands down scarier so I just left it at "Well let me know if you ever see SOTL, ok?" So, I did end up seeing SWTE, partly because it was a popular flick but also to know where it ranked on a scale of scariness. Later on my friend and I were catching up again, and guess what? She had seen SOTL by then, and she fully conceded that SWTE was a like comedy in comparison to SOTL in terms of being truly frightening - meaning that I ultimately won the debate :-) Silly memory, but I can't recall SWTE without reflecting on that...
