That looks great. And here I haven't even picked up the ReAction figure version yet.

It's nice to see this film get some belated love. I think it speaks to the fact that people like myself who saw it as kids retain a fondness for it, and that it's been discovered by subsequent generations as well.

Yeah, I was impressed with the ReAction figure (far and away, the most well-done of the entire line, but there's a dedicated endcap of them at Barnes and Noble . . . it's surprisingly varied), but the sculpt on this one is very nice. Removable helmet, Mauser, even front button flap.

It's peculiar because it's not for any anniversary reason, but I love that this is finally getting some action figure play.

It is very nice. I've been collecting Hasbro's 6" Star Wars Black Series line, and this is as impressive--maybe even more so--than it, and for the same price.

Yeah, there's really no "event" reason to the sudden merchandising of a nearly 25 year old film that wasn't even a big hit when it was released. I suppose more obscure movies have gotten some merchandising love thanks to Gen-X nostalgia, but in this case it's possible that the decade + long comic book movie halcyon era we're in sent kids scrambling for older genre movies to watch and they fell in love with The Rocketeer. At least I hope that's true.

I have the MEDICOM *Real Action Heroes* Ver 2.0. from a few years ago...still mint in box, I saw the Funko Version at B&N and thought it was cool to have at 3 3/4 Buuut, when I saw the card(with the Art Deco Poster art) I just had to have it! I guess I'm too cheap to buy the poster, but it looks great with the well-sculpted figure with Removable Helmet/Jetpack. Haven't seen any variations like one with a Mauser or an open jacket though...wonder what that's about?

I wish they would do a whole line of merchandise. It'd be cool to have stuff with Neville on it, like a figure, or a shirt with his movie poster from the movie on it "The Laughing Bandit"...

I'm kinda surprised Funko only did Cliff in 3&3/4". I saw a Daniel LaRusso last week and the Karate Kid line features two Daniels, one Miyagi, two Cobra Kais and an Ali (Elizabeth Shue's action figure dreams are finally realized).

The Rocketeer just has more potential than only one figure. I'd pay for a Sinclair, Lothar, Jenny, etc. Goodness knows I'm not complaining, just odd is all.

I just ordered the Legacy figure with the removable jacket front. I just think it looks to be the better of the two variants. I just wonder why they NEVER seem to make a Rocketeer figure based on the comic book, with the retro jet pack and such?

I am not a fan. I just happen to enjoy movies. Fans are embarrassing.
