shareYeah, Eddie clearly wasn't dumb, but I suspect that in his line of "work" it doesn't pay to ask too many questions. Do the job, get paid and wash your hands of it would likely be his motto. It's good business.
It makes his turn at the end that much more satisfying. When the light bulb comes on and he realizes what Sinclair is up to we see that everyone has a line and Sinclair crossed it when he threw in with the Nazis.
