If you can make films based on rides why not on a movie that is a cult classic.Now it can be like the recent Bond and Batman films.

I'd rather they just put some effort into a decent home video release. All we have is a laserdisc rip from 1999 and a bare-bones blu-ray. I can watch this movie in hi-def on Netflix without buying the blu-ray. Their attention to this matter is frustratingly negligent. There's plenty of supplemental material out there to slap on this thing and make it worthwhile.

NO! Digitally clean up the original, bring it up to todays standard, upscale to 4K, maybe fix the FX with CGI, boost the audio mix and put in theaters again.

2022 Disney needs to leave this the fuck alone. They would probably cast Zendaya and have Ellen Page as the love interest.
