Starts great, ends BAD

This movie had great potential in the beginning. I liked the first 3/4 of the movie. It rolls along good and kept me very interested in all the characters; it was very serious until the ending. All the sudden it gets very corny and hokey once Denzel calls up his black panther posse and they manage to pull off something unplanned without a hitch as if it was planned textbook for years and practiced. John Lithgows character goes from a meticulous cold blooded killer with a brain and knack for planning and being patient in the name of vengeance; to a shining buffoon that joyfully shows his face in front of 20 tv cameras when he is supposed to be playing dead; therefore blowing his cover that has been played thru the rest of the movie.
Its like What happened!?? The movie is all done and everything wrapped up in a tiny bow with a happy ending all over one phone call to the IceT posse? Felt like I walked from one theatre watching a good thriller to a different one playing a B grade cornball flick with a different director.

great movie...wtf *beep* doesnt have to be so complexed all the time...it just has to be entertaining

A lot of us find a movie has to be complex to be entertaining. Especially a movie with such a serious tone.

So by that rationale had this starred Bruce Willis, or Arnold Schwarzenegger or even Sylvester Stallone it wouldnt be considered an action classic among alot of posters here?
