I have an 42 inch 1080P Widescreen television. Since "Ricochet" is an non-anamorhphic Widescreen transfer. The movie looks pretty bad now, it`s probably plays slightly better on a XBOX. For those, who have their "Ricochet" DVD with an 1080P tv. Please let me know, what you think. I have an JVC television.
shareI have exactly the same and I agree the film stock looks very dated, plus the lack of 5.1 hurts the experience.And what an experience it is! Lithgow kicked all kinds of A$$ in this! I was cheering for him to succeed.

watched it on a 50" sony bravia on friday night and it didnt look good. needs a new transfer.
shareIt's an issue with the DVD most likely. I have a 38" Samsung, and I have an HDTV rip of the film and it looks crystal clear, and sharp. I can't speak for the DVD though, but HDTV and Blu-Ray obviously will look better as the MBPS is much higher that of a DVD. Plus you guys have higher " tv's that is taking a toll on the DVD version you watch it through, so it's bound to have artifacts and pixels
